  • Rescheduling -  If a lesson time needs to be rescheduled, notice must be given 24 hours before their next lesson.
  • If notice is not given for a lesson reschedule either an online lesson will be set up for the student, or during their lesson time a lesson plan will be sent for them to work on during their missed time.
  • Sickness - If able, when a student falls ill we will temporarily switch to online lessons until the student recovers.  If the student is unable to attend their lesson(s), material will be sent out for the student to work on.
  • Due to a full schedule, rescheduled lessons either be scheduled when a spot becomes available during the week, or will  be set during non-teaching breaks as follows:
    • Any owed lessons before Christmas Break will be scheduled on the 22nd and 23rd of December.
    • Any owed lessons following Christmas Break will be scheduled during Spring Break (March 30th to April 3rd).
    • Year-end make-up lessons will happen after June 12th.

In-person Lessons:
  • Students are required to bring their own instruments/materials for music lessons.  These materials include books, folders, drumsticks, guitar picks, etc.  Don’t forget to bring them each lesson!
  • Students and parents shall wait quietly while they wait for their lesson time/child to finish their lesson.

Online Lessons:
  • Lessons are delivered via Microsoft Teams, so please have the software set up and ready to go.  I can help with some of the technical aspects of the application.
  • Be prepared for your lesson and ready to go a few minutes before your scheduled time.
  • Younger students may need assistance with online lessons, so parents/guardians should be available during their child’s lesson to help out.

Cancellation:
  • I require two weeks' paid notice for lesson cancellation.

If you have questions or concerns regarding any of the above policies please let me know.
