Online Lesson Requirements and Suggestions

Online Lessons are handy for those times that a student may be under the weather or the roads are rough.  Switching to an online lesson can be requested at any time.  Be aware that there is a bit of setup and transition time to get an online lesson rolling.  Be ready to go when it's your lesson time!
Below is a list of requirements and suggestions when considering online music lessons.  Anything with an asterisk (*) is a definite must for getting a working experience.  Some of the suggestions are there to help make the most out of your online experience.
  • A solid internet connection.
  • A webcam and microphone.  Most laptops, phones, and tablets have both installed.
  • A quiet space for the lesson to take place - with limited distractions for the student.
  • Having a parent/guardian/family member available to help set up and check in on the student for their lesson/

As a tech person I can help with any issues or questions you may be experiencing with online lessons.  I'm also here to help you get all of these things set up so you can have the best experience possible in your music lesson.
